Questions to Help With Your Application

What will I learn and do?

As a QuarryBio intern, you are given the opportunity to assist on research projects, learn how to conduct your own research, and occasionally assist mentors on client-centered work. You are encouraged and guided by mentors on how to network and build relationships to further your academic and professional career.

What are the pre-qualifications?

QuarryBio’s internship program is accessible to students of all educational levels and is a good fit for any student interested in science and related majors. Our interns range from doctoral level students to high school students.

How long do internships last?

One benefit of interning at QuarryBio is that you are given the flexibility to intern based on your academic and personal workload. Previous interns have chosen to intern during their summers, while others choose to intern during the school year. Often times interns return to continue working with us and our team, but this is not expected.

Will I be paid or earn credit?

When applying for an internship at QuarryBio you will be given the opportunity to specify whether you wish to receive credit for programs like Bright Futures or be paid for the time you spent in the lab. These details will be worked out after you submit your application and before you begin work.

How do I apply?

At QuarryBio, we try to make the application process as simple and stress-free as possible. You will find an application form below where you can give us your name, email, school, resume, and a brief summary of why you are interested in interning with us.

What does the application process look like?

After submitting your application, you will typically receive an email from us in about two weeks. If you have been chosen for further consideration you will be scheduled for an interview where you can learn more about the position and get a tour of the lab.
